Ashton Park West Kirby
Yet another hot summer afternoon for our annual concert at Ashton Park in West Kirby. This was wonderful as for the last few years we have been unlucky with the weather here. There was an audience of about 150 or more people seated on the steps to listen to us.
Just click on the video above to see short extracts from the concert. The pieces featured are, Ferry 'cross the Mersey, Ammerland, Lamgstrump Samba, L.O.V.E. Pirates of the Caribbean, Ballad for Benny and Themes of 007.
Eb basses Stuart and Pat (hidden behind Euph) Baries with new member Mark playing his first concert with us and Chris a founder member from 1865) and Dave on Euph.
The Front Row
Claire and John on the front row. Any front row contender's who want to join would be welcome, particularly by John who could then go back to his beloved Soprano cornet.
