Ashton Park 2023
Our first event of the year, on Sunday 11th June, was a traditional concert in the park. We have been performing regularly in Ashton Park and always enjoy it’s beautiful setting. (Click on the image of the lake to learn more about the park).
We have been in a heatwave with occassional thunderstorms for a few days but the weather was ideal, at least for the band, that Suunday - Hazy sunshine and a slight breeze- Not too hot and not too cold but just right.

Before the start one player tries to cast his mind back to the last practice and wishes he'd paid more attention - "What were those cuts we agreed on?"
